Character exploration
I thought of this young astronaut to be super happy and energetic, and also from the future. Here are some of my favourite versions I did of her and the first sketches of the final one!
Knowing she's from the future, I imagined a bubble helmet for her, that always gets the shape of what she is wearing in the head! She also carries her backpack with her favourite things!
I also thought of her having a dad that travels with her across the galaxy, but he didn't end up in the final illustration.
